CCVW is an organization facilitating the association of air-cooled and water-cooled Volkswagen enthusiasts.
CCVW is a not for profit organization, facilitating the association of air-cooled and water-cooled Volkswagen enthusiasts that enjoy everything Volkswagen. We are primarily a social club for those who enjoy Volkswagens, and can be a great resource on technical matters and networking, within the Volkswagen community. The club is quite active throughout the city, in addition to activities most weekends, highlights of the past year include taking laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in our VWs, Cruising to Casey, Illinois, and putting on Volktoberfest our two day event in October.
Much of the club communication occurs on two different Facebook groups. As a member, you are strongly encouraged to join both of these groups.
- The “Circle City Volkswagen Club” group has over 1700 participants. Some are members of the club, others are members of surrounding clubs, and others are random people who have decided to share in their love of VW with us. When buying or selling parts, seeking advice, and generally trying to cast a wide net with posts and comments, this group is your place. General event information is posted here as well.
- The “CCVW Paid Members Group” is a smaller audience, consisting of the other active members in the club. This group is not open to the public and gives us a place to have constructive discussion about the internals of the club, vote on meeting locations, and share private events such as our member’s only events and activities. From this group, you can find our calendar of upcoming events, and under the files section, you can find a copy of the current club by-laws.
Meetings are generally scheduled the third weekend of each month, however, these dates and times do flex a bit as needed. Meeting locations change each month, with an attempt to alternate around the city. It’s best to follow the “CCVW Paid Members Group” to find the location and time of the next meeting.
